WASHINGTON ISLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL |
|
Well, it’s over, and it was a huge success—musically, gastronomically and financially. To those of you who attended and kept the bidding at a lively pace, we extend our heart-felt gratitude. For those of you who missed it, we can only suggest that you call earlier next year. We do apologize for not posting the concert program in advance, but we didn’t know what it would be until the concert.
Several members of our Festival Ensemble donate their time and talents and come to the Island over Memorial Day Weekend. After a delightful performance at The Trueblood Performing Arts Center we all adjourn to Karly’s for a social hour and a sumptuous buffet. During the social hour and buffet you may participate in a silent auction. After dinner we will have a live auction of approximately 5 special items, after which we will keep the silent auction open for a few more minutes. Once again we have a great array of services and objects to offer. The list is now posted below. We will post the concert program when it is finalized.
The cost for the concert and buffet is $70.00 per person. We did sell out last year, so make your reservations soon. You may do so by calling Joan Kuhn at 920-847-3434 or emailing wimf@mac.com. |
